Siddartha is an engineer with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Iowa. He works at Parametric Technology Corporation developing mechanical design and simulation software. He is deeply interested in various social, political, environmental and technological issues. He has been involved with Asha for Education, a non-profit promoting basic education in India, with Manushi, a non-profit working for social and governance reforms in India, and with the Breakthrough Institute, and environmental think tank in Oakland.
